We had stormy weather on Saturday night with lightning causing havoc with my phones and Internet connection. The phone does not bother me as I have cell phones that allow me to stay connected; however, I could not check e-mail or search for the information I needed. Everyone at my house knows that leads to a very grumpy Mamma. I was overjoyed and thankful that the AT & T technician arrived early this morning to get me re-connected. Now life can get back to normal. I did not realize how much I relied on the computer and Internet. I could not even order pictures yesterday for a class I am teaching. I am dependant and for those of you that know me, you know that is not my nature. I am a very high control person and the last few days I was not in control.
What is my Lord trying to teach me? Maybe the same lessons He has been teaching me for years, that is to let go and let Him have His way. He is in control whether I want to admit it or not. I guess I am a slow learner. I am sure there are times He just shakes His head and wonders if I will ever learn.
