Taylor decided she would try out for track this year at Guntown Middle School. She made the team, no surprise to us. When she sets her mind to something she stays with it. Yesterday was her first track meet in New Albany. This was a new experience for Stephanie also. She learned very quickly that there are things longer than gymnastics meets, namely public school track meets. The meet turned in to an all day and night event but Taylor did very well especially for her first meet.
She competed in the 400 m relay and the 80o m race. Taylor did a really good job in the team relay; however, she excelled in the 800m race winning first place. Taylor, keep up the good work. I am so proud of all you have accomplished.
