After 6 years and thousands of pictures my camera has just died. In anticipation of this coming, I have been looking at reviews and talking to people about the best camera for me. Deanna suggested the Canon 50D. After analyzing the situation to death, knowing I did not want to make a mistake, because the camera cost so much I was torn between a Nikon and a Canon. In the end, I finally decided on a Canon camera because I already had a few lenses for a Canon. I can tell you after taking the camera out of the box and shooting a few pictures I do not believe I made a mistake by purchasing a Canon. The pictures are fabulous, the color is great and I cannot wait for pretty weather to make some portrait shots of Makenna. I have struggled for some time with my other camera and that took all the joy out of taking pictures. I can truly tell you I once again know the joy of capturing life through a lens with this camera. It is so easy and I have so many options I am sure I have not even realized yet. I must get busy studying the manual.
Praise the Lord, I have an answer to prayer! Annacarmie has a job at Children's Place. It is only part time right now but we are praying it will work into full time. She is in training today. I cannot wait until she gets off to see how things went. She has really been stressed this week because she moved into one of my rent houses and knows she will not be able to pay the rent if she does not have the opportunity to work at least close to full time. She wanted a place of her own so badly and now that she has it she wants to be able to keep it.
