Wipe Stick and Lazy Days of Summer

Lazy summer days are a thing of the past for so many children.  I want Makenna to know those lazy days with no agenda and no one rushing her to the next activity.  Children need the time to play freely and be children and that is the childhood I am striving to provide for our Precious Baby.

Barefoot little girls, swings, slides and running freely in the yard makes for many good memories and carefree days.

Makenna loves lipstick as well as Mamma Kim does; however, to Makenna and everyone else in the family now, it is "wipe stick" not lip stick.  Sometimes she does better applying wipe stick than others.  I never want to forget those percious things she says.  Time moves so quickly and she grows up and I forget those precious things too often.

 Baby girl, I love you and your wipestick no matter where it is on your sweet little face.

Makenna loves helping me cook and every southern cook needs an apron.  Mamma Kim made Makenna a new apron just for her.  Guess Makenna liked it because she wears it all day most days whether she and Mamma Kim are cooking or not.  Today she even wore it to visit her Nana.
