Drew's first birthday party has about been the death of his mother. Her mind is not at all one that understand entertaining. She has been working for the last month on things for the party. Not sure what all she has been doing, but I do know there are many more things to be done. Last night when I talked to G, she did not have serving pieces, or anything like thatShe said after this she is never doing another party. We will see. I just cannot believe someone would feel like that about the preparation for a party. I just love doing things like that, I guess I thrive on the excitement of things like that.

Gillian chose the Dr. Seuss theme because she knows she will never get to do that theme when Will is back. Any daddy likes to have trucks, dirt, and bugs as little boy themes. I am with you, Will. Already have many ideas for little boy things. These ideas just come so naturally to me.

The decorations turned .out really cute for Drew's first birthday, even though Gillian thought it was so much work. I knew we were in trouble when Gillian text me HELP!!! while I wasa at the hospital with Annacarmie getting her wisdom teeth cut out. G could not get the tables to look right, She said I cannot do it. Please HELP! I took Annacarmie home and got her settled then went to the house to help G. In a matter of 2 hours I had all the tables done. I was reminded of how much I enjoy doing things like that. Oh how I wish I had more time to do things like that as often as I did in the past. Maybe one day that will come again.
