A day at the park
Gillian wanted new pictures to replace some on the old ones; therefore, we started out at the park to make some. Brent got too hot so quickly we had to move the photo session inside. Some of the pictures were fairly good, I just like natural light and the sweet innocence of children playing to capture the true essence of a child. I can so see that in the eyes of Makenna and Drew as they run, play and swing at the park. I pray they never loose that zeal for life and the innocence.

The M & M War
Gillian and Drew brought Makenna a basket full of goodies for Easter. As Makenna was looking through her basket, Drew spotted the M & M's and took a little bag for himself. He chewed on the bag for a few minutes then decided he needed all the M's that Makenna had. As you can imagine a struggle ensued. He was going to get those little chocolate jewels one way or another even if he had to push Makenna out of the way to get them. This was so funny as I watched him cram his mouth full of candy. Mimi tried to get him and he kept grabbing them and stuffing his hands and mouth full. Gillian could not believe how he was stuffing his mouth full. Mamma Kim has the proof that he too loves chocolate or as Makenna calls it chockie.
Makenna is telling Drew to leave her M's alone, they are hers but he does not seem to be bothered that they are hers. He is going to have them no matter who they belong to.
I bet these will not be saved in his fat jaws like he saves his veggies sometimes.
The proof is in the pictures the boy loves chockie as well as his cousin and she did not teach him to like them. He just instinctively knew to love them. How could he not, his whole family would rather have sweets than meals.
Umm it sure was good while it lasted. It just did not last long enough.

Does he look like his daddy?
William Andrew Francis II
June 2010
Above all else, Will wants Drew to look like him. He definately got his desire. The acorn did not fall far from the tree in this father and son. I knew they looked a lot alike; however when I placed these photos side by side I was amazed at how much they look alike. With each passing day I see little mannerisms and quirks in Drew that I have seen in Will his entire life and I don't believe these things are learned so young. I pray that strong will in Drew can be directed in the right direction unlike his daddy many times.

Will, you have a little boy who is just like his daddy. He will be a source of great joy to you but also a source of many frustrations and sleepless nights. I know, because I have already walked that path with you. Keep your eyes on the Lord and be prayed up and you too will survive just as I did; eventhough, at times you will wonder if you or perhaps Drew will survive.
