Today is good Friday and resurrection Sunday is coming. Praise God what an awesome God we serve. Had it not been for Jesus dying on the cross He would not be my Savior. I am so thankful for Jesus as my Savior. For those who do not know Him, He promises salvation to all those who call on His name asking Him to be Lord and Savior of their lives. I am so thankful He loved me enough to call me His child.
He is my rock and my fortress, one of His many attributes that calm my fears and keep my feet on solid ground. I am so thankful for christian parents that not only sent me to church they carried me and lived a life for Chirst before me every day, preparing me to learn to depend on Christ as my rock and fortress in those difficult days. Yes, there have been many difficult days in my life but none compare to the joy I find as I hide in the cleft of the rock, Jesus Christ.
It is my prayer that everyone has a blessed Easter.
