Snow
Snow is not a frequent occurrence in Mississippi. For that reason, most things come to a stop when that occurs. Today was the day for snow here. As I showed Makenna the snow she was not the least bit interested in watching the white flakes fall outside nor was she interested in going outside to check it out. It was bitter cold and she had to be too bundled up. She does not like being constricted like that so needless to say she really did not want to be outside. That was fine with Mamma Kim also because she does not like the cold. Instead she had much rather be bundled up under a blanket in the house where it is toasty warm. There were not even any pictures to be made of Makenna and her second snow today. When Mimi asked why we did not make pictures there was a simple explanation. It is really hard to hold Makenna while outside and make the picture at the same time. Therefore, no pictures of the snow which I am sure will really bother Makenna greatly when she is older. Mimi, a reminder to you, we can only do what we can do and no more. Come make our picture next time then we will have pictures. After all it is more important for Makenna's Mamma and Daddy to work than to be home making pictures.
